    NYRD-TJ 26GHz Radar Level Transmitter Product Description


    The NYRD-TJ Radar level transmitter is a 26GHz high-frequency radar level measuring instrument with a maximum measurement distance of 40 meters. The radar level antenna emits an extremely narrow microwave pulse. The pulse travels through space at the speed of light and meets the surface of the medium being measured. Part of its energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna.


    The time interval between the emitted and received pulses is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium. Due to the extremely high propagation speed of electromagnetic waves, the time interval between the transmitted and received pulses is very small (nanosecond level) and difficult to determine. The 26G HF radar level transmitters uses a special correlation solution technology to accurately identify the time interval between the transmitted and received pulses, which further calculates the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium.



    NYRD-TJ 26GHz Radar Level Transmitter Design Features

    6. Adopting two-wire system and loop power supply technology, the power supply voltage and output signal are transmitted through a two-core cable.

    8. Not affected by changes in medium density, viscosity and temperature.


    NYRD-TJ 26GHz Radar Level Transmitter Installation Requirements


    • The radar level transmitter is installed at 1/4 or 1/6 of the diameter of the tank. Note: The minimum distance from the tank wall should be > 200mm. Figure 1: ( datum, container center or axis of symmetry.
    • The top surface of the conical tank can be placed in the middle of the top of the tank to ensure the measurement of the bottom of the cone, as shown in Figure 2.
    • When there is a pile, the antenna should be aligned perpendicular to the surface. If the material plane is not flat, the stacking angle must be large to adjust the angle of the horn to make the horn as close as possible to the material surface, as shown in Figure 3.
    • Take-over height requirements: The antenna must be inserted into the tank at least 10 mm, as shown in Figure 4.
